Chocolate and cinnamon- what's better? With a taste similar to hot chocolate plus toffee and a smell just so scrumptious, these brownies will keep your mouth wanting more for days to come. It's time to get cooking; so double the batter and mix up a batch of:Mexican Cinnamon Brownies!



Step 1:

To begin, mix together 3 ounces semi-sweet chocolate morsels with one stick or a 1/2 cup of unsalted butter at low heat until thoroughly melted. Let sit for at least fifteen minutes or duration of prepping other ingredients.

Next, crack 3 eggs in a large bowl; then add 1 cup sugar.

Measure 3/4 cup of brown sugar and combine with eggs and sugar in large bowl.

Add 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract to the mixture.

Continue to stir!

Measure 3/4 cup of flour, along with a 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder.

Add 1/4 teaspoon salt if unsalted butter is use. Do not add if salted butter is part of your recipe.

The ingredient that makes the batch! Be sure to measure just 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon!

After adding all 10 of the ingredients and an optional 1 cup of pecans, stir and combine until all dry ingredients are completely mixed into the wet.

Pour your batter into a greased pan to prevent the brownies from sticking. Set your timer for 25 minutes as they bake in your preheated oven. Allow for more time if needed.

Once pulled out of the oven, poke the brownies with a knife to ensure they are cooked completely. Allow to rest until thoroughly cooled and then cut. Enjoy your batch of brownies-
